Wow! What a colorful and gorgeous city. Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos. 🙂
glad you enjoyed 🙂 thank you for your comment!
Great images of Kiev? When have you been there?
I travelled in Ukraine for a month back in 2011, it was one of my favorite trips ever and still remarkable!!! 🙂 PedroL
I hope it stays the same after the war. I wish to see those churches some day.
I hope so… if you have the chance you should go there, I believe in the west side of the country life goes ‘normally’… on the east side it is dangerous, but Ukraine is a big country and there´s plenty to see! regards PedroL
So excited that I stumbled upon this site. I have traveled in Ukraine when it was part of the USSR and since it has gained independence. You’re right about life in Western Ukraine being “normal” – other than all the young men and women from the west who fought in the war of independence. If you get a chance, consider visiting Lviv, a cosmopolitan European-style city near Poland…or the beautiful Carpathian mountains. BTW, the correct spelling is now Kyiv.
dear Irene, it was a pleasure to read your comment 🙂 I had such a fantastic time during my trip around Ukraine 🙂 In fact, I was in Lviv, it was lovely!! maybe i haven´t post the photos… have a great week, cheers from Lisbon, PedroL
¡Qué buenas fotos de mi ciudad natal! No han pasado muchos años, pero sí que sucedieron cambios históricos.
Glad you saw and appreciate 🙂 and thanks for the comment 🙂 I really like Kiev 🙂 all the best, PedroL
Gorgeous image! Reeling in the after effects..
Have been thinking of a project that creates spaces for writers and artists who want to exchange spaces / host other artists.. Would love to hear your thoughts on it… https://asthaguptaa.wordpress.com/2016/02/01/the-15-exchange-for-artists/ 🙂
your idea seems perfect! going to read more about it now 😉
Thanks! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts 🙂
