Bobby Sands mural, Belfast
Travel is, undoubtedly, a great way to know more about the world. During my trip to Belfast – last May – I had the chance to roam around the Northern Ireland´s capital and discover a city in peace, however divided by the Catholic and Protestant communities. Even if I knew the situation, I have to admit that the chance to testify it was very interesting. My next posts show part of the ambiance around Falls Road, one of the main roads in West Belfast, where, nowadays, it is still possible to find the peace lines that for years separate both communities and the murals used to make political statements.
