This is the uptown of Vila do Conde and where I found some of the highlights of this amazing city in the suburbs of Porto.
In this hill is located the amazing Santa Clara Monastery – one of the biggest feminine convents in Portugal, founded in the 14th century. It has a great viewpoint to the city center but also to the lovely Ave river.
Another amazing point is the Santa Clara acqueduct. In my next post I’ll give a closer look. See you soon!
