I would like to start to thank you all who, last week, gave me a hand to know your interests in a walking tour if you were coming to Lisbon. Also all the private messages and feedback were a great help.

I’m really happy to know that what I want to do is what you’d love to experience in a tour in my hometown: the most part of you mentioned the interest of a Literary Tour of Lisbon – couldn’t be more than excited to share some of the best local authors and their stories.

One of them is definitely Fernando Pessoa. He is known for his innovative poetry… and his eccentric lifestyle. Pessoa is celebrated all over Lisbon and his marks are in many different streets and spots, buildings and statues.

You just have to know where to find it. As I’m designing this Literary Tour of Lisbon, one of the places I would like to take you is this statue, located in a secondary square, in front of the building where Fernando Pessoa was born.

Sooner or later will start to accept your bookings for my walking tours of Lisbon. Give me some more time. To be honest, couldn’t be more excited to show you my hometown. Have a great weekend!

  1. I’m sorry I missed that request for input but I must admit, this sounds wonderful. A chance to learn about the local writers and poets of any region adds another dimension as vital as colour or architecture.
I look forward to the chance to see Lisbon through the eyes of a poet. A dream within a dream…
