In the core of the old town in Portugalete I found this amazing square with Salazar tower and St Mary cathedral. From here you have one of the best views to the Bilbao estuary and Colgante bridge

Why do you have a tower named after the dictator? 😛
ahah that’s true, as I wrote in my travel chronicle related to Portugalete, someone from Portugal might feel a bit scared to visit a place called ‘Portugalete’ with a tower named Salazar and a red bridge… 😛 have a lovely week, PedroL
